June 2024 Proposed Amendment
BIRT By-Law 3.4 be amended by the addition of a new subsection that reads:
3.4.2.X. The President of ARM Chapter 24 - Waterloo, or designate.
Rationale: The experience, skills and abilities of retired members are valuable resources to advance the interests of public education and the community at large. Having the President or designate of our local ARM chapter sit as a non-voting member of our District Executive to provide valuable insights and information to us and for us to keep them informed on District business will ensure our organizations work together more effectively.
