District Human Rights Award Winners 2018 Announced
We are so pleased to announce the winners of our Second Annual Student Human Rights Awards
The 2018 winners of a $150.00 prize are:
CHCI's Roots and Shoots Club (Teacher: Nicola Martin) for their student, community and parent fundraising dinner which raises awareness of homelessness and action.
KCI's Days for Girls/Sewing Club (Teacher: Carla Mancuso) for their project to help provide feminine hygiene kits for young women around the world who are prevented from attending school for one week each month due to their menstrual periods.
CHCI's Gender Sexuality Awareness Club (Teachers: Kelly Main/Erin Ledlow) for their Annual Gender Sexuality Awareness Semi-Formal focussed on providing an safe, supportive and inclusive environment celebrating different student sexual orientations.
